|Title||GiNaCRA: A C++ Library for Real Algebraic Computations|
|Abstract||In verification and synthesis of systems using real-valued quantities, as for instance in the real-time or probabilistic setting, an exact representation of real numbers is desirable in order to achieve most reliable results. To some extent, this wish can be fulfilled: there is an exact representation of a real number being a zero of a polynomial with rational coefficients in one variable, i.e., an exact representation of a real algebraic number. We provide the growing, open source C++ library GiNaCRA, supporting exact computations with real algebraic numbers. The library is based on the C++ library GiNaC, supporting the symbolic representation and manipulation of polynomials. In the context of our long-term goal, GiNaCRA is one step towards the integration of real algebraic decision procedures into the SAT-modulo-theories (SMT) context.This talk outlines the features of GiNaCRA and provides some insights into their functioning.|
