Abstract The topic of this talk is from the field of e-Learning and is interdisciplinary in two ways. First it is a cooperation of the two research groups Computer-Supported Learning and Theory of Hybrid Systems both at the department of computer science, and second it is connected to the work in AlgoSyn although the field of e-Learning is not part of AlgoSyn. This connection is because AlgoSyn is a highly interdisciplinary group itself and thus, there is always the need for an easy access to very specialized research topics. Presenting such topics to students or even pupils seems far more involved. Nevertheless it is feasible, as this talk points out: Pupils from schools in the near surroundings of Aachen were taught in some selected topics of theoretical computer science in the context of the “Pupils’ University 2009″. The main approach to perform this task was based on video production, which ought to be entertaining enough in order to take the pupils’ fancy. The results are indeed entertaining, likely also for other people.
